Fun and laughter on La Baume

I arrived outside the campsite gates of ‘La Baume’ feeling very nervous and unsure about what lay ahead of me for the rest of the season. However that soon vanished as I was greeted with a warm smile by the lovely ladies on reception.

Driving through the campsite and heading towards where I would be living for the season my earlier fretting had turned into a big smile that spread across my face. Everywhere I turned there were beautiful palm trees and families laughing and joking with one another.

As if that wasn’t enough to take in at once I found myself wondering around this lively campsite when I stumbled across a massive swimming complex. With a fantastic themed pool for the smaller children, and the winding slippery slides for the more daring, older children and fun loving adults there was certainly plenty to do.

The end of the day was near and I found myself at ease with the ‘camping life’ on La Baume where there was plenty of fun and laughter as I relaxed in one of the bars watching the evening’s entertainment ‘cabaret’.

Of course what I didn’t mention was that when your children are off having a ball at Al Fresco Kidz Club then ‘mums and dads’ can take some much needed relaxation and chill in the Jacuzzi. Or of course for the more active work up a sweat in the on-site gym with a personal program designed to help you.

Also with Palmeraie restaurant having had a refurb over the winter there’s a lively atmosphere surrounding that area and the bar whilst you enjoy tucking into some French cuisine.

See you soon :)
