Love food and a snip of history in Brittany?

If you like french food but don’t want to travel too far for the real deal, then the round table at in Brittany could be for you!

Just a few minutes in the car from Chateau des Ormes campsite, we arrived at a quirky little ville called Dol-de-Bretagne.  The groups first impression of Dol’s quaint town was that we had all turned up on a movie set….

This feeling continued as we burst through the doors of the ’round table’ restaurant. We instantly got the feeling we had gate crashed a dinner with King Arthur!

Along with other members of the group I decided to go for traditional food in Brittany.  I found myself tucking into a ‘galette’ packed full of mouthwatering smoked ham, creamy potatoes and crisp lettuce leaves. It was simply delicious!

The restaurant provided great service, tasty french food and was extremely child friendly. So if you would like some food for thought in Brittany, why not visit Domaine Des Ormes with Al Fresco Holidays and experience the magic for yourselves?
