James's Easy Chocolate Trifle

This is a recipe that me and (my grandson) James have made up! We both like cooking. James and I always make this for summer Barbecues and Al Fresco dining on family holidays! The photo is of James whisking up the cream!

3 large double chocolate-chip muffins
Splash of sherry (OK to leave out!)
1 tin pear halves
200g Cadbury's milk chocolate
600ml double cream
1 Cadbury's flake

Step 1

1. Break up muffins into large trifle dish. 2. Pour over sherry (as much or as little as you like). 3. Tip in pear halves. 4. Break-up chocolate into a microwave bowl and heat for 40 seconds on high, stir rapidly until melted, may need another 20 seconds but be careful not to burn. 5. Pour half the cream into chocolate and mix well. 6. Pour over pears. 7. Put in fridge for 1 hour until chocolate layer sets a little, then it's easier to put final cream layer on). 8. Whip remaining cream to layer over the chocolate and finish with the crumbled flake.
