Barbequed Halloumi & Pear Salad With Homemade Dressing

A simple summer salad, ideal for Al Fresco eating! Serve as a starter or as a side dish.

Ingredients

125g of halloumi
1 pear
Mixed baby salad leaves
1 lime
Olive oil
Balsamic Vinegar
Salt
Pepper

Step 1

Light The BBQ! Slice the halloumi and pear into thick slices Make your dressing by mixing 6 tablespoons of olive oil, 2 tables spoons of balsamic vinegar, and the juice of a lime, add salt and pepper to taste. Cook the halloumi and pear on the BBQ for a few minutes until golden, this will take a few minutes. Arrange the pear and halloumi on top of the salad leaves and drizzle over the dressing! A lovely refreshing summer salad!
