Visiting the Massif de l’Esterel Coastal Area of France - Al Fresco Holidays

Our Douce Quietude site is a great place for families with young children to unwind against a beautiful coastal backdrop. Set in the Massif de l’Esterel coastal area, Douce Quietude features a kids splash area with water jets splash pool and entertainment for family fun and frolics. Choose from two types of mobile home to stay at this park: the Rossini Riviera and the Vivaldi Rivera, from our new contemporary Riviera range.

There’s plenty of space, with both sleeping up to 6 people, and a modern galley kitchen leads to a large terrace, perfect for outdoor summer dining. The main difference between them is the Vivaldi Riviera features two twin bedrooms whilst the Rossini Riviera has an en-suite shower connecting to the master bedroom..

You won’t always be in your mobile home during your time at Douce Quietude, of course, especially when there are so many things to do nearby. To the east of the Massif de l’Esterel are the cities of Cannes and Mandelieu, and to the west sits Saint-Raphael.

Cannes needs no introduction, we’re sure, as it’s known worldwide as the glitzy coastal town which annually hosts the world famous Cannes Film Festival. Mandelieu might be new to holidaymakers. It’s actually a commune in the Alpes-Maritimes known for its fortified 14th century castle, the Chateau de la Napoule. Saint-Raphael, meanwhile, is a seaside resort popular with holiday sportsmen and politicians!

A visit to the Douce Quietude campsite is the perfect way for families to relax and breathe in some fresh French sea air. It’s a great place to take in some of the sights of the south-western coast, while also checking out some exciting French culture. If you’d like to get to know this beautiful part of Europe, visit our site and look for availability today!
