Adriano is one of our newest parks, situated close to Ravenna on Italy’s east coast. It offers a superb getaway for families with its sandy beach location and sociable atmosphere welcoming families from all over Europe. Adriano campsite is also just a short walk to Punta Marina’s beachside restaurants and bars, and there’s plenty of transport links into the area.
Our Adriano park features both Puccini Riviera and Vivaldi Riviera mobile homes, the former housing up to eight people making it perfect for larger families.
The Adriatic coast, running along the warm waters of the Adriatic Sea shared by Italy, Slovenia, Croatia and Montenegro, will attract a number of holidaymakers in particular to its beaches, ancient connections and Mediterranean hospitality. . Ravenna, a city of art and three time capital of the Roman empire, offers plenty for history buffs and is home to eight buildings on the World Heritage List.
Ravenna’s ancient origins stretch back to the 5th and 6th centuries, and can be seen in the mosaics found in the city’s basilicas and baptisteries. The remains of the poet Dante are kept in Ravenna, and his life is celebrated with numerous cultural events.
Those who love to be active on holiday will be pleased to hear that, along with the water park and beach at Adriano, Ravenna has many cycle tracks and parks, while the Garden of Forgotten Herbs is a great place to unwind with a relaxing walk.
Nature lovers will be keen to check out the Punte Alberete reserve, where many rare species of bird find shelter, as well as the Nature Museum of Sant’Alberto and the pinewoods found at San Vitale and Classe.
