Thomson Al Fresco, Duinrell, The Netherlands - Al Fresco Holidays

As promised, following Catherine Eade’s Travel Mail trip her children have provided us with their own highlights from their holiday at Duinrell. Here’s what Joel Morris, aged 12, thought…

When I smashed into the water at the bottom of the fastest waterslide I’d ever been on, I sat up and smiled. I thought to myself; this is brilliant.

We’re on holiday in the Netherlands near a small town called Wassenaar in a holiday camp called Duinrell. It contains an amusement park with loads of rides and the ‘Tikibad’ which is a water park with lots of waterslides that are fun for children and adults.

Duinrell is in an amazing location: in the middle of a forest, near to the seaside, where the climate is temperate. It also has a lookout tower, climbing wall, and ‘adventure mountain’ which has high ropes and even a zip wire through the forest! I would recommend it for anyone aged 6+. We had so much fun the week we were there.

The Eade family enjoyed an action packed week at their Al Fresco parc, to read their whole review and everything they got up to click here

Another piece, this time from Catherine’s daughter – 14 year old Emily, will be up shortly, so make sure you keep your eyes peeled!
